Letters to a Prescientist
Organization's mission: "Letters to a Pre-Scientist connects students to STEM professionals through snail mail to broaden students ’ awareness of what STEM professionals look like and do at work and inspire all students to explore a future in STEM."
I have participated in the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 academic years, both years I exchanged letters with a 5th grade penpal.

Past Outreach Collaborations:
Memphis Museum of Science and History
Organizations's mission: "Inspire discovery through collecting, preserving, and interpreting the cultural histories and natural sciences that shape our region. Share Your Exploration."
I have worked with MoSH to develop touch charts that we displayed to the public for Parasite Day 2022. I have also participated in the 2022 Fossil Fest with a paleoparasitology booth and I talked about the lab's research at the 2022 STEAM Festival. In addition, my fall 2022 parasitology class worked with MoSH to develop parasite themed touch carts for their final project.
